Train Me RTO will only be running the Excavator & Skid Steer (Bobcat) Operations Combined Course (RIIMPO320F & RIIMPO318F) to private group bookings.

A private course would require minimum 5 students and access to necessary machinery.

This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to conduct skid steer loader operations (bobcat) and excavator operations safely within the civil construction, rail infrastructure and mining industries.

Course Duration: 3 Days

Learning Outcomes

• Lifting, carrying and placing materials
• Stripping / spreading topsoil and materials
• Excavations, trenching and back-filling

• Selecting, removing and fitting attachments
• Relocating equipment and clean, check and maintain plant and equipment
• Clean up work area

Assessment

Assessment is a combination of written questions/answers and practical demonstrations.

Statement of Attainment

Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO318F – Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations and RIIMPO320F – Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations. Please note: if your course took place on Friday or over the weekend your Statement of Attainment will not be sent until the following Monday.

LANGUAGE & LITERACY REQUIREMENTS

This course will be taught in English and will require a sound understanding of English literacy. If you believe you may encounter challenges with English literacy, please contact us 02 9733 3600 and we will assess whether you have the capabilities required to undertake this course.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Course participants must be over the age of 18.

What you should wear

Wear steel cap boots, a hard hat, safety glasses, long pants and hi visibility shirt/vest. You will also need wet weather gear if required.

What you should bring

Please bring valid photo ID and USI number.

Be advised that lunch is not provided, please bring your own lunch or there is a small tuck shop a 5 minute walk from our venue.

There is free parking all day street parking.
